Exeter, New Hampshire

Commissioned by the American Independence Museum, this engraved view of Exeter from the salt marshes shows the Swampscot River (at far left) emptying into the salt water tidal basin. Exeter was one of the first towns formed in New Hampshire, and the town hall is front and center in the print. It is a lovely town with many historic buildings and is home to Exeter Academy. The engraved woodblock is 7" x 5".
