HAPPYNEXTM FIDDLE AND VIOLA SLING
I recently received an unsolicited HAPPYNEXTM in the mail from Karen Ringeride of Rhode Island, creator of this fiddle sling. I was skeptical at first, but after trying it for a week I was hooked.

Easy to use, the soft and flexible stretchy fabric slides under the tailpiece and wraps around your neck and under the bowing arm. A simple adjustable knot ties the sling together and you are all set for more comfortable practice and performance!
If you have never tried a fiddle sling, be prepared for a startling experience - the sling holds the violin against your shoulder and allows you to use both hands freely when not fiddling (turning pages in a tune book or fishing the rosin out of your case for example). More importantly, it reduces stress to your facial and neck muscles because you no longer need to clamp down on the chin rest! (You can even remove the chin rest if you like.)
I recently used a HAPPYNEXTM fiddle sling while on tour with my band, Celticladda. We played 5 contradances in 5 days with a music workshop added as well.
